My name is Cole Johns, and I'm a full-time interior designer turned illustrator from the (formerly sleepy, now bustling) town of Greenville, SC.  I've been drawing since I could grip a crayon (on walls, in margins, and on just about anything that would sit still).  I'm especially drawn to the quiet magic of everyday life, finding stories in the 'ordinary' moments, and bringing them to life with gouache, water-soluble crayons, colored pencils, and the occasional digital touch.

I have over a decade of experience specializing in creating immersive environmental wall graphics for both Children's Healthcare & K-12 environments, and now I'm looking to bring those same illustrations from the walls, and into the hands of kids.  I currently live in a fixer-upper full of charm, chipped paint, and potential - and I'm always tackling one (or three) too many projects at a time.  I share it all with my canine sidekick, Poppy, a cockapoo with loads of sass, and a penchant for treats.
